ShineWing Australia has promoted three former associate directors – Matthew Oakey and Steven Edmonds in Melbourne and Blayney Morgan in Sydney – to the position of partner.

Mr Oakey works in business and private clients advisory and leads the family office team at ShineWing Australia.

He has nearly 20 years’ experience in the industry, including six years at ShineWing Australia and 10 years with Evans Buchanan which merged with ShineWing Australia.

Mr Edmonds also works in the business and private client advisory division, specialising in agribusiness and automotive services. He has worked at ShineWing Australia for just under five years.

Mr Morgan works in the insurance and advisory division, mostly on Chinese inbound investments in Australia in the energy and resources space.

"ShineWing Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Partners. The promotion of Blayney Morgan, Matthew Oakley and Steven Edmonds is a reflection of the quality of people we have at the firm and is a testament to their hard work and excellence in client service," ShineWing Australia managing partner Marco Carlei said.

"The new appointments highlight our continued focus on a long term organic growth strategy, which is creating opportunities for our people and has culminated in these internal appointments."

All three began their new positions on 1 January 2017.
