Vaughn Campbell, a member of the Institute of Analytics Professionals of Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, will take charge both of data analytics and business intelligence matters at the mid-tier firm.
Having previously spent 10 years in public practice with Deloitte in Sydney, Mr Campbell has performed roles in areas ranging from business services and assurance to advisory services.
He has also worked with clients across a multitude of industry sectors, including retail, mining and energy and manufacturing, as well as media and telecommunications.
“Vaughn specialises in providing unique and creative data-driven services to deliver actionable insights which add value and mitigate risk,” the company said in a statement announcing the appointment.
“In this new digital age, he more than understands how critical data is to business success and is an expert in process optimisation, predictive analytics and data-driven business intelligence."
Speaking to AccountantsDaily, Mr Campbell said he is excited to join a firm like PKF and to work in the agile mid-tier space.
