My journey into the accounting industry started all the way back in 2001. I pursued a Bachelor in Commerce and a Master of Accounting, where I discovered a passion for mathematics and strategic thinking. What attracted me to the industry is not only the intellectual challenge in this field but also the satisfaction and rewarding experience of seeing the appreciation and impact of my work. Connecting with clients and finding the best solutions for their financial problems and business goals has always been immensely fulfilling. The ability to build valuable connections and make a tangible difference in their lives and businesses has kept me motivated and driven me throughout my career.
What inspires you in your role/industry? Why?
The accounting industry is dynamic and ever-evolving, and what inspires me most is the opportunity to continuously learn and grow. I am driven by the challenge of staying ahead in an industry that is constantly influenced by regulatory changes, technological advancements, and economic fluctuations. Additionally, I find great satisfaction in helping clients navigate their financial challenges and achieve their business goals. The trust that clients place in us to manage their financial well-being is a powerful motivator. It pushes me to deliver the best possible service and to continually improve the skills and knowledge for our whole team!
What's your approach to customer service that separates you from the rest?
My approach to customer service is centred around building trust-worthy and long-lasting relationships with clients through our value-added services. Instead of merely crunching numbers, I aim to build trusted advisor relationships with my clients through proactive and solutions-based strategies.
I am very proud of our team, who share the same dedication and mindset to ensure client success. Understanding each client's unique needs and goals is crucial, so I prioritise open and transparent communication, ensuring that clients are always informed and confident in the decisions we make together. Our team is always ready to help, making clients feel safe and well-cared for from the first meeting. By offering guidance and advice in a simple and relatable manner, I strive to act as more than just their accountant but as someone they can rely on and confide in.

The toughest challenge I’ve faced in my role has been managing time and balancing my work life between my professional responsibilities as an accountant and my personal roles as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend.
