Vincents’ senior managers Ashley Leslie, Louisa Sijabat and Josie-Marie Lopez have been promoted to directors and will commence their new positions on 1 July 2017.
Ms Leslie and Ms Sijabat specialise in insolvency and reconstruction, while Ms Lopez is in the audit and assurance division.
Vincents’ managing director David Rose said these promotions reflect not only the firm’s commitment to growth across all business units, but also internal promotions and efforts to increase diversity amongst the leadership team.
“We have always had a strong female presence with 63 per cent of our current managerial positions being held by females, but these appointments move up to the next level by significantly increasing our board’s female representation from 15 per cent to 25 per cent,” Mr Rose said.
“Attaining a high level of gender diversity is a paramount business consideration at Vincents and this year’s strong contingent of female promotions really demonstrates the success of the range of initiatives we have put in place - including gender remuneration gap analysis, paid parental leave and flexible working arrangements to support employees with family and caring responsibilities”.
In 2016-17, 60 per cent of Vincents’ new recruits were female and over 60 per cent of available promotions within the firm were awarded to females.
Vincents also recently announced the recruitment of Mariano Rossetto from Slater and Gordon to join the firm as a director on 1 July 2017.
