In an internal promotion, Bradd Morelli will take over from Mr Arnautovic from 1 July 2018 as Jirsch Sutherland’s national managing partner.
Mr Morelli first joined the national insolvency firm in 2007, working initially in the Sydney office before joining the founding team in Newcastle.
Mr Anautovic, who will remain a partner at the firm, has been Jirsch Sutherland’s national managing partner for 10 years, growing the firm from three partners, two offices, and 30 staff to 16 partners, five offices and 80 staff at present.
“I’m very proud of my 10-year tenure as national managing partner. I had a clear focus: to grow and strengthen the firm fundamentally and continue to provide quality customer service and practical, innovative solutions,” said Mr Arnautovic.
“We’ve grown Jirsch Sutherland, and its associated entities, organically and through mergers and acquisitions, including the merger with WA Insolvency Solutions in 2014 and, more recently, with GM Advisory in Brisbane. These were pivotal in enhancing Jirsch Sutherland’s position as a prominent national firm and bolstering our approach to having a local presence and national reach.
“I’m proud of my legacies and am excited that I can now pass the mantle of national managing partner over to Bradd. I want to continue to focus on my clients, referrers and insolvency work without the added workload of being the National Managing Partner. Bradd brings decades of experience in the insolvency sector to his new role, and I know he’s looking forward to taking on the role and plotting the course of the firm into the future.”
