Greenwoods elevates 9 in New Year promotions

Specialist tax advisory firm Greenwoods & Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted nine of its staff, including one to a partner position.

Effective since 1 January 2020, Greenwoods has elevated Ryan Leslie to partner.

The Melbourne-based specialist brings to his new role extensive experience, having advised clients across the income tax aspects of corporate, international and trust matters.

In addition, Greenwoods has promoted eight to the new title of associate director, recognising Greenwoods’ senior professionals on the way to partnership. 

The new associate directors, also effective 1 January, are: Chris Aboud (Sydney), Tristan Boyd (Perth), Libby Duncan (Sydney), Mary Hu (Sydney), Elizabeth Lester (Sydney), Rebecca Lawrence (Sydney), Daniel Paolini (Melbourne) and Sarah Reddick (Sydney).

“Congratulations to our new partner, Ryan Leslie, and our new associate directors,” said managing partner Manuel Makas.

“We are very proud to have a cohort of such high-calibre professionals shaping the future direction of the firm and strengthening relationships with our clients.”
