Moore Stephens has announced the appointment of Duy Vo as associate director within its assurance advisory division.
Mr Vo was most recently an internal audit and risk consulting associate partner at rival mid-tier Crowe Australasia.
He was also previously a risk services director at Deloitte, and a former business risk services manager at Grant Thornton.
In his new role, Mr Vo will be tasked with advising on governance arrangements, preventing and detecting fraud through the implementation of effective risk management and internal controls.
Moore Stephens Western Australia managing partner David Tomasi said Mr Vo’s appointment comes as the network rebrands to Moore Australia from 1 July.
“This is an exciting time for the firm as we grow our network and relaunch our brand,” Mr Tomasi said.
“Duy’s significant experience and passion in supervising and delivering risk-based assurance reviews, and assisting clients in identifying and initiating actions that mitigate risks and strengthen controls, is a value-add for the firm and our clients.
“Having worked for over 20 years within professional services, Duy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that our existing and future clients will benefit from. Duy is certainly a valuable addition as we grow our firm and provide additional services to our clients.”
