Moore Stephens has announced the elevation of Daniel Pegdon, from manager to director, within its tax and business advisory division.
The promotion will see Mr Pegdon join the leadership team of 14 other partners within the Western Australian firm from 1 July 2020.
Mr Pegdon has been with the firm since 2011 and specialises in corporate tax.
Moore Stephens Western Australia managing partner David Tomasi said Mr Pegdon’s promotion was in line with the network’s growth strategy as it looks to relaunch as Moore Australia from 1 July.
The mid-tier had also recently announced the appointment of a new associate director in its assurance advisory division.
“Having worked for the firm since 2011, Daniel has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we all look forward to the challenges his new role will bring,” Mr Tomasi said.
“The key focus for Daniel will be the private sector, as well as local government and support for other not-for-profit entities, with Daniel’s broad experience allowing him to work with a large range of industries.”
“Not only is this in line with our growth strategy, it demonstrates our commitment as a firm in investing in our people right alongside our clients.”
