Greenwoods has appointed Jillian Gardner as the new leader of its national projects and infrastructure group.

Ms Gardner will join the firm in March 2021 from Macquarie Group, where is a division director in its infrastructure and real assets division.

She also previously worked as a senior consultant at big four firm PwC.

Greenwoods managing partner Manuel Makas said he was pleased to strengthen the firm’s offering through Ms Gardner’s 20 years of experience in both infrastructure and broader funds management.

“We are very pleased to welcome Jillian to the firm,” Mr Makas said.

“In addition to her strong tax technical background, she also brings significant commercial experience and deep industry relationships. I am confident that this will prove invaluable to both our clients and people.”

Ms Gardner said she was looking forward to joining the firm.

“I am looking forward to joining Greenwoods. The firm is well regarded as a tax specialist and I’m excited to lead the Projects & Infrastructure group and explore new opportunities with the firm,” she said.
