Throughout his career, Mr Miranda has advised on private treaty and public market acquisitions and divestments, equity raisings, IPOs, debt structuring and arranging, and investor relations. His clients comprise start-ups, early-growth, SMEs and ASX 300 companies that operate in the healthcare, technology, natural resources, industrials and consumer industries.

The appointment of Mr Miranda to the director, corporate advisory role comes as part of William Buck’s strategy to support mid-market clients.

“Vivek’s multi-faceted and highly accomplished career enables him to bring a wealth of experience to William Buck where he will drive growth and value for our mid-market clients,” said Lindsay Holloway, managing director of William Buck Melbourne.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Miranda said he is pleased to be “joining a firm that is progressing an ambitious growth strategy to service the mid-market space with high quality corporate finance advisory services”.

He added that he looks forward to “providing practical advice on opportunities for businesses to scale faster and better through effective capital structuring, capital raising and shareholder-accretive corporate transactions”.

The appointment of Mr Miranda comes soon after William Buck confirmed it had completed its sixth merger since 2019.

Effective 13 September, William Buck merged with Melbourne-based firm BR Wellington. As a result, BR Wellington has taken on William Buck’s namesake and has had all staff relocate to work from the firm’s Melbourne office.
