BDO has appointed Chris Korte as a partner in the firm’s digital & technology advisory (D&TA) team.
Based out of BDO’s Adelaide office, Mr Korte will lead the D&TA team in supporting clients by assessing their business and IT environment and delivering real-world solutions to secure optimum business performance.
He will help clients establish and implement appropriate IT strategies to support strategic competitive advantage and business objectives, as well as information security.
This includes areas across business intelligence, data analytics and advanced analytics (for example, inventory analytics and wage analytics) along with IT cost reduction including service level optimisation, asset management and portfolio management.
Mr Korte joins BDO with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry. He was most recently state manager of IT solutions and service provider ASG Group South Australia.
He was also formerly the head of sales at Datacom Connect, and previously sales and marketing director at NEC Australia.
BDO advisory partner Kyffin Thompson said Mr Korte’s appointment was a testament to the firm’s commitment to helping clients stay ahead of the digital and technology curve.
“We are pleased to welcome Chris to BDO’s D&TA team. Chris has had an extensive, and successful career in D&TA and is well known in the South Australian market, bringing with him an excellent understanding of the industry, our market, and how to approach it,” Mr Thompson said.
“Chris’ experience in developing and implementing digital and technical strategies for clients, and leading and managing large teams of professionals will be a great addition to our Adelaide office and national advisory practice.”
