KNOW MORE“Tech-native tax queen” Tanya Christie has been promoted after 18 months.
Fullstack Advisory has announced that its tax manager, Tanya Christie, will be joining the executive team as chief operating officer starting 1 June.
Chief executive Stuart Reynolds said he was excited to have Ms Christie, a self-described tax and tech queen, join the executive team.
“The level of insights that Tanya brings to the firm from a tax and internal tech strategic level are interstellar,” said Mr Reynolds.
“Tanya has already overseen an incredible amount of growth across systems, networks and capability and we are excited for the next stage of evolution at Fullstack with Tanya as COO.”
Before joining Fullstack Advisory in October 2020, Ms Christie worked as a tax manager at Merit Partners in Darwin and ran her own firm overseas. She has over 10 years’ experience serving international businesses in tax, virtual CFO and strategic advisory, as well as experience in financial modelling, automations and financial accounting.
Fullstack said she had used her understanding of tax and commercial advisory to support its mission of helping more tech and innovative entrepreneurs succeed.
Ms Christie said she was enthusiastic about the future at Fullstack Advisory and looked forward to continuing the positive work it did for its clients.
“Being part of Fullstack has changed my life in a very tangible way. We’re able to make a genuine impact on the lives of our employees and clients,” said Ms Christie.
“At Fullstack we don’t force staff to fit in a box, we’d rather build them a custom box that they can flourish in.
“It truly feels like I’ve found my place in the universe and hope that we can support others to experience the same.”
Since 2017 Fullstack Advisory has assisted thousands of founders to scale their businesses with progressive accounting, strategic advice and tax solutions.
Fullstack Advisory said its mission was to “help innovators and influencers make great things happen”. It focused on prosperity and community impact “not just correctly filled forms.”
Through the use of partners such as Billpower, CloudPayroll and Hubdoc, Fullstack Advisory aimed to use technology to allow its clients to focus on their core function.
Through Fullstack Advisory’s use of this “tech-powered approach” it has been short-listed in the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies Awards for 2022.
