Grant Thornton has appointed Joanne Esterhuizen as partner of audit and assurance at its Perth office, joining from Deloitte Australia.
Ms Esterhuizen said she was excited to join the Grant Thornton team and provide exceptional service for all her new clients.

Partner and Perth office chair at Grant Thornton, David Hodgson, said that Ms Esterhuizen would bring much-needed knowledge to the Perth office and the firm as a whole.

Ms Esterhuizen has provided external audit and advisory services to businesses across multiple industries such as energy and resources, manufacturing, service delivery and construction.
Grant Thornton said she had successfully planned, coordinated and executed large-scale audits spanning multiple locations across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Ms Esterhuizen is a qualified chartered accountant in both Australia and South Africa and joins after most recently working as a director at Deloitte Australia having previously worked for PwC in both Australia and South Africa as a senior manager.
