Document management and process automation firm FYI has appointed experienced IT professional David McKay as chief operating officer.
FYI founder and chief executive Rob Cameron said recruiting Mr McKay, who was chief operating officer for data intelligence company Frisk, would help drive the firm’s growth goals.
“David is an experienced operator with sector expertise that can assist with managing and streamlining our own internal processes, providing better outcomes for our customers,” said Mr Cameron.
He said Mr McKay would help the firm’s expansion plans by “allowing us to service both our existing clients and grow our customer base in Australia and New Zealand whilst looking for new opportunities in other markets”.
Mr McKay said he was looking forward to linking up with the firm as it continued to expand.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining a rapidly growing business that has a fantastic product that customers love,” said Mr McKay.
“I’m looking forward to working with enthusiastic, experienced leaders who have a clear vision and strategy and have global aspirations.”
The firm said Mr McKay would be in charge of the general operations of FYI including human resources, finance, IT, supplier relationships, internal reporting, risk management and compliance, and special projects.
