In addition to three newly minted principals, the mid-tier accounting firm has elevated three team members to senior levels and another two to intermediate positions. All 11 employees operate within the audit, assurance, or business advisory team.
The three new partners are Marcus Teoh, Ewan McIvor, and Jong Kang.
Mr Teoh has over a decade of experience in external auditing for various multinational, not-for-profit, public interest, and ASX-listed clients, specialising in healthcare, aged care, wholesale, and manufacturing.
With expertise in UK and Australian corporate reporting, Mr McIvor will continue his work in the international financial reporting standards and international auditing standards spaces and their Australian equivalents.
Before PKF, Mr Jong was the chief risk and compliance officer for an APRA-regulated foreign ADI. With more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mr Jong has worked across the Sydney, South Korean, and New York markets.
PFK managing director, Bob Bell has extended his congratulations to the newly promoted staff, adding that “This time of year presents us with the chance to acknowledge and appreciate our employees for their dedication and development throughout the last year.”
