New jobs board launches for accounting industry

Appointments

Momentum Media is proud to unveil a new accounting jobs board which will promote employment opportunities across the accounting industry.

By Miranda Brownlee 11 minute read

The new platform, Jobs in Accounting, has been launched to connect job seekers with accounting firms and companies that are looking to fill positions.

In addition to accounting roles, jobs in connection with the accounting industry such as technology roles and positions for support staff can also be listed on the board.

Jobs in Accounting already features over 300 jobs from leading businesses including Grant Thornton, Moore Australia and Findex.

“Recruitment has been an ongoing challenge for the accounting profession in recent years. The jobs board provides an additional channel for accounting firms and companies to promote a wide range of positions to the market,” said Accountants Daily editor, Miranda Brownlee.

To look for jobs on the platform, candidates sign up for a free profile which provides key information such as a CV, career overview and what they’re looking for.

Jobs listings include an overview of the position, the location, salary bandings, experience requirements, and the details of how to apply.

Employers can set up an employer profile that displays key details about their company. They are then able to purchase standard or featured job packages based on the number of jobs they are recruiting for.

Standard listings are displayed on the website for 31 days, while ‘featured’ listings are posted on the website. They are promoted in Accountants Daily and Accounting Times daily news bulletins and social media pages.

Employers then have access to how many times their profile is viewed and how many applicants they receive for each job listing.

Annual packages with premium support and longer listings are also available.

“With the launch of Jobs in Accounting, we look forward to serving the accounting community for years to come and helping accounting professionals achieve their career goals,” Brownlee said.
