BDO announced Chris Paull had joined the BDO Perth office as its newest tax partner to bolster its client relationships.
The firm said Paull, a former PwC partner, brings extensive professionalism and expertise to the Perth tax team.
BDO Perth partner James Massie-Taylor said Paull is a great addition to the tax team based on his strong track record in building solid relationships with clients and his ability to understand a business’ needs.
“With over 18 years of experience, Chris excels at distilling complex tax and commercial issues into practical outcomes, advising clients on a wide range of tax areas including transactions, internal restructuring and financing matters, as well as tax compliance, tax advice, ATO reviews and tax risk management,” Massie-Taylor said.
“He specialises in the private, property, infrastructure and government sectors, and has a passion for projects that are significant to Western Australia such as strategic property and infrastructure construction projects.”
Massie-Taylor noted Paull’s experience working in various sectors such as mining services, financial services and the not-for-profit sector contributed to the extensive value he added to the team.
Paull said he was excited about his new challenge and role as a tax partner.
“I’m so pleased to be joining the tax team at BDO,” he said.
“I’m passionate about working on projects that are important to Western Australia, including property and infrastructure construction projects- areas I know BDO’s Perth firm has made great strides in over the past 12 months.”
