PKF Sydney and Newcastle have announced the promotion of 23 professionals in a move to recognise their dedication, expertise, and contributions to the firm’s success.

The 23 promotions spanned various divisions of the firm, such as audit, business advisory, tax and financial services to reinforce the firm’s commitment to developing and retaining top talent, PKF said.

Bob Bell, managing director of PFK Sydney and Newcastle, said he passed on congratulations to all 23 members who had received a promotion.

“At PKF, we take pride in fostering career progression and recognising talent. Each of these individuals has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication and leadership in their respective areas,” Bell said.

“Their promotions reflect both their personal achievements and our firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence.”

The firm said one professional, Rebecca McCabe, was promoted to partner based on her extensive experience and deep understanding of complex financial matters and her role in driving growth and innovation in the firm.

PKF noted that McCabe’s promotion was a testament to her leadership and commitment to delivering client outcomes.

“I’m incredibly proud to step into the role of partner at PKF. The firm has provided me with fantastic opportunities to grow, and I look forward to continuing to support our clients and mentor the next generation of professionals,” McCabe said.

PKF also highlighted Matthew Weeks’ promotion to financial adviser to strengthen the firm’s financial advisory capabilities.

Weeks was noted to be a valuable member of the PKF wealth network for his passion in wealth management, superannuation, and financial planning.

Weeks said he had built a strong reputation at PKF due to his strategic insights and client-first approach.

“At PKF, we’re focused on delivering the best financial outcomes for our clients, and I’m excited to take on this new role to help them achieve their goals,” he said.

“I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships and providing strategic financial guidance that makes a real difference.”
