BDO has announced the appointment of four new partners to bolster its capabilities across deal advisory, tax and technology-driven business transformations.

Across both the Sydney and Melbourne offices, BDO welcomed Patrick Burke, Stefanie Bradley, Patrice Farmer and Adam Quigley to its partnership team.

The firm revealed that Burke joined the Melbourne offices as an advisory partner with over 18 years of experience and had a proven track record in leading large-scale transformations, digital programs, separations, integrations, and value creation initiatives across diverse sectors.

Also joining the Melbourne office was Bradley, who brought over 20 years of experience to the advisory team, with deep expertise in organisational transformation, change management, and large technology implementation projects.

David Garvey, BDO Victoria managing partner, said Bradley’s appointment strengthened BDO’s advisory services and consulting capabilities, particularly in strategy, transformation, and change.

“Patrick and Stefanie’s extensive experience in strategic advisory and transformation will further enhance our capabilities in the Melbourne office,” he said.

“Their leadership will be pivotal in delivering tailored, high-impact solutions for our clients, particularly in the public sector and large corporates.”

In the Sydney office, Farmer was appointed corporate and international tax partner, while Quigley joined as consulting partner and part of the people advisory team.

BDO said Farmer had a solid reputation for providing insightful, commercial tax advice and extensive experience in all major areas of Australian corporate tax, including tax governance, M&A advisory, and compliance services in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.

Quigley, joining the Sydney office as a consulting partner, was noted to be an expert in technology-enabled change management with over 17 years of experience.

BDO Sydney said Quigley had previously worked on large-scale ERP transformations in the energy, resources and higher education sectors, and his focus would be on helping organisations realise value more quickly from new technology through effective change management.

Grant Saxon, NSW managing partner of BDO,  said Farmer and Quigley were valuable additions to the Sydney office.

“Patrice and Adam’s leadership and experience will help us continue to provide a deep service offering to our clients across several key factors,” he said.

“Both Patrice and Adam bring strong skills and networks to BDO and complement our growing team. By bolstering BDO’s existing capability in both tax and change management, we can appeal to an even wider set of clients, which will be crucial to furthering our growth and service offerings.”
