IPA board president Jason Parker congratulated Mr Conway on the appointment, noting that Mr Conway has long been an advocate for small business.
“I congratulate the government on making this appointment and Andrew for taking up this additional challenge,” he said.
“Andrew has always been a keen advocate for the rights of small business in Australia and this is a natural extension of his efforts with the IPA.
“We look forward to better outcomes for small business stemming from this important committee which will feed directly into future government policy,” said Mr Parker.
