Newly appointed Tom Kennedy has more than 25 years’ experience in digital change management, business strategy and media content and distribution.
EY Oceania Advisory leader Bill Farrell said Mr Kennedy’s experience complements the firm’s global strategic investment in digital.
“Tom will be focusing on new media and digital opportunities particularly around asset digitalisation, customer and advertising models,” Mr Farrell said.
Before joining EY, Mr Kennedy founded and led several successful content and digital companies including, Media Zoo, Hyro, Beyond Online and Brainwave Interactive.
He holds a number of industry roles including being a member of the NSW government’s Digital Economy Action Plan.
He was also previously a commissioner of the Australian Film Commission, chairman of the Internet Industry Association and president of Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA).
Mr Kennedy said he was looking forward to working with EY's clients.
