The firm today announced Brendan Britten, who has served as an audit and advisory partner at Pitcher Partners for more than nine years, has been appointed to the role of deputy managing partner in Melbourne.

Mr Britten will take over the role from one of the firm’s founding partners, Adrian Fitzpatrick.

Mr Britten’s appointment is just one of several recent senior appointments made by the mid-tier full-service firm.

Stuart Dall has joined the firm as a corporate tax partner from KPMG. His specialisations include mergers and acquisitions, international cross border taxation, financial services and funds management.

Other partners appointed were Ben Powers, Dean Love, Michal Jozwik and Ali Suleyman, working across business advisory, risk services and tax consulting.

Jake Meyer has also joined the tax consulting team as a senior manager specialising in transfer pricing, further strengthening the international tax practice.

In corporate finance, Marcus Bartlett and Jason Murphy have joined as directors. Both have considerable experience working in professional practice and commercial roles domestically and internationally.

John Ngiam has joined the firm’s audit and assurance practice with experience in international and Australian financial reporting standards, as well as audit and technical standards and methodologies.

In consulting, Rob Tigani has joined the firm after several years in marketing and strategy roles for corporates.

John Brazzale, managing partner, Melbourne, congratulated all on their new roles, saying the appointments strengthen the firm’s value proposition to current and prospective clients.

“These appointments demonstrate Pitcher Partners’ commitment to both finding and promoting the best people to enhance the services we can offer our clients.”

“The key tenants of our mission statement are to provide the best possible service to clients with the best people. These recent appointments demonstrate our commitment to fulfilling this mission,” Mr Brazzale said.
