Shaun Mahony has been appointed a partner – audit and business services for the mid-tier – after joining in February 2015 following 22 years of experience in big four firms throughout Sydney, the Hunter region and the UK, as well as a commercial finance role for a privately-owned multinational group.

According to DFK Crosbie, Mr Mahony brings with him extensive experience in providing business advisory services including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, capital raising and IPOs.

Additionally, Mr Mahony’s audit experience includes audits of ASX-listed companies, government organisations, not-for-profit entities and a range of small- and medium-sized businesses.

“I am excited at joining the firm as a partner in an energetic and client-focused team which has a proud history of building strong client relationships and supporting clients through all stages of their business and life,” Mr Mahony said.

“I look forward to continuing to leverage my audit, business advisory and commercial experience to benefit current and future clients,” he added.

Fellow DFK Crosbie audit and business services partner Kirsty Porteous welcomed Mr Mahony's appointment.

“We are extremely proud to introduce Shaun as a partner to our team. Shaun’s depth and complexity of experience is an invaluable asset to the firm and our clients who, I have no doubt, will benefit greatly from Shaun’s diverse skills and business acumen.”
