Susan Oldmeadow-Hall will join the BDO Perth Audit and Assurance team in an accounting and financial reporting advisory role to assist with the transition to new accounting standards AASB 5, 16 and 9.
BDO said Ms Oldmeadow-Hall has a wealth of knowledge and experience in leading technical accounting and finance teams.
“Susan’s experience includes technical partner with a large global accounting firm based in Perth and most recently [as] compliance officer for the Packer and Co Investigator Trust,” said BDO.
“With over 20 years of industry experience, Susan’s appointment will add further depth to BDO Perth’s Audit and assurance team.”
The mid-tier firm said it “was delighted to have Ms Oldmeadow-Hall join” to further strengthen the team.
BDO Perth office lead audit partner Phillip Murdoch said she is the second experienced local practitioner to join the firm in the last 12 months.
“[She will] assist us to continue to deliver high quality services to our valued client base,” said Mr Murdoch.
