Amanda Young has been appointed the newest partner with specialist insolvency and turnaround firm Jirsch Sutherland.

Ms Young has worked at the organisation for 13 years, most recently in the position of liquidator.

She has specialist experience in business recovery, reconstruction, insolvency and liquidation, and is “known for her technical expertise and strong commercial sense”, according to the firm.

“I love working in a collaborative way to find solutions and to understand realities and relationships. One of the most valuable things about my profession is that it has taught me how to manage expectations,” Ms Young said.

“Through my work, I’ve come to better understand the needs of individual businesses and the base elements so I can work to provide a suitable solution and outcome.”
