This week, recruitment company Grad Mentor has launched the networking season to provide opportunities for graduates to find suitable employment opportunities.
The event was held at the Intuit industrial workspace in Sydney.
Intuit senior business development manager Trent Mclaren said it was an opportunity for Intuit to invest in the early stages of an accounting graduate’s career.
“An experience they could not have obtained through their traditional education system,” said Mr Mclaren.
“We love that we were able to create this environment in partnership with Grad Mentor, as it’s allowed us to help an accounting firm find their next top talent and now we’re responsible for funnelling keen graduates directly into the accounting industry.”
Alisdair Barr from Grad Mentor said the company hopes to do many more of these events in order to “see the careers of these young graduates truly shine in what has been described as a competitive landscape”.
