CA ANZ recently changed its CA program structure from semesters to trimesters with a view to provide flexibility for students.

However, several candidates at the tail end of their studies found their completion dates were thrown out by up to six months, because they couldn’t enrol in their final capstone course as a result of the new structure.

CA ANZ told Accountants Daily last week it was mulling options and concessions for affected students students, which has been confirmed this evening in the form of an additional capstone module, CAP417, to assist those who weren’t able to enrol in CAP317.

“We will be assisting eligible candidates through enrolment when enrolment opens on 22 September. The module will begin on 30 October with the final exam on 19 February 2018,” a CA ANZ spokesperson told Accountants Daily.

Several students have since contacted Accountants Daily to indicate this solves their completion date issues, but be in touch with This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if that’s not the case for you.
