In a statement released today, The Practice confirmed its acquisition of metropolitan firm Pritchard Lees took place in early December.
The move follows the appointment of former HLB Mann Judd director, Matt Gardiner, who was brought on board to expand The Practice beyond Melbourne. It is part of a broader plan to expand presence in the NSW market.
“This move is primarily about being able to provide an expanded range of services to our growing NSW-based clientele, while also enabling us to attract new clients as we consolidate our position in Sydney,” said co-founder and director Robert Hadded.
Moving into 2018, the firm will now also look to bolster its business advisory services in Sydney.
A small proportion of staff from Pritchard Lees will not be making the transition to the newly formed firm. The majority of staff will join the new Sydney operations.
“Establishing a Sydney footprint has been a long-standing objective, and we are delighted to add the experience and skillset of the Pritchard Lees team to our existing Sydney presence,” said co-founder and director Jason Cunningham.
