The program, Knowledge Shop IQ, is based on interactive and video-based training, delivered online.
The training is tailored to experience level, challenging mass market training modules for accountants.
Requisites of the training include online quizzes and live feedback. The platform retains a record of a candidate’s performance, which is accessible to managers.
According to Knowledge Shop chair Greg Hayes, who is also director at Hayes Knight, the program looks to address transparency issues in the market, where employees and prospective employees overstate their levels of expertise.
Further, Mr Hayes believes a “one-size-fits-all” approach to professional development is outdated and not conducive to productive learning.
