Kreston admits Qatar firm
An accounting network has announced the admittance of a Qatar-based accounting firm as it looks to boost its presence in the Middle East.

Kreston International has admitted Qatar-based firm Kreston SVP, formerly SVP Chartered Accountants to its network.
Kreston SVP will join fellow Kreston member, MP&P Accounting and Auditing in servicing client in Doha.
Kreston chief executive Liza Robbins said Kreston SVP’s managing partner Sheji Valiyakath and its three partners would help bolster its reach in the region.
“The admittance of Kreston SVP gives us additional resource and valuable representation in this important region. The firm’s decision to brand upon entry is testament to their commitment to quality and to the key values so important within the Kreston network. We look forward to working with Sheji and team in future,” said Ms Robbins.
Kreston SVP partner Musthafa Bakar welcomed the admittance as a “remarkable development” for the firm.
“Through this strategic alliance and, by taking the Kreston brand, we hope to further raise our profile and credibility in the accounting market place and to serve our growing international client base by collaborating with our fellow member firm in the region and with those across the network,” said Mr Bakar.
