PwC came in at number four of 20, up 11 places from last year. It comes after Qantas, Epworth Medical Foundation and Apple.

As an industry, professional services came in at number nine out of 10 in terms of attractiveness for employees, trumped by industries like early learning, education and engineering.
Australian workers rated non-salary benefits as among their top drivers of choosing an employer in 2019.
These benefits include provisions with support work/life balance, job security, location and flexible working arrangements.
Having a “pleasant atmosphere” was also important to 40 per cent of all participants in the survey.
Recently, a national salary survey showed that accounting professionals are in a better position than most to negotiate a higher salary this year.
This particularly applies to those in payroll, and with technical and commercial expertise, and with those candidates who have had experience at a big four accounting firm.
