SV Partners has now established an Adelaide office, bringing its market presence to 17 offices nationally.
The insolvency firm, primarily based along the eastern seaboard, will see its new Adelaide office led by two former principals from a rival firm.
Former BRI Ferrier principals Stuart Otway and Alan Scott, both registered liquidators and registered trustees in bankruptcy, will now lead operations in the new office.
SV Partners’ managing director, Terry van der Velde, said the decision of adding an office in Adelaide came at an “opportune time” and would help grow the firm’s national footprint.
“The onboarding of two highly professional and recognised insolvency practitioners will strengthen the SV Partners brand and allow us to take on a market in which we have not previously been active,” he added.
Mr Otway welcomed the appointment and expansion into Adelaide.
“[I am] delighted to join a team of professionals that are driven to helping their clients and local businesses,” Mr Otway said.
“It is also exciting to be bringing some local knowledge to a newly established market for SV Partners. We look forward to the new year ahead with a fresh start.”
