Now in its fourth year, the Women in Finance Awards is a national awards program designed to shine a spotlight on the strength, diversity and innovation female leadership brings to professional and financial services in Australia.
This year, there are 28 categories and one excellence award up for grabs, which aim to highlight the achievements of women across a broad range of industries that contribute to Australia’s financial services market. This includes a new category added this year which calls on female banking and finance lawyers.

“This is the second year AMP Bank has supported Momentum Media’s Women in Finance Awards and never has there been a more important time to celebrate women making a difference in the financial services industry,” said AMP Bank managing director Rod Finch.
“As we continue to face into the many challenges of COVID-19, we are seeing women making important contributions. Women are shaping and influencing our industry and beyond, highlighting the power of diversity and inclusion, particularly in fostering diversity of thought.
“Today’s leaders have an important role to play in fostering diversity of thought. Indeed, I believe this is one of the standout attributes that will prove invaluable as we continue to manage through these challenging circumstances and as we progress through to recovery.”
The Women in Finance Awards seeks to provide a platform for females to gain industry-wide recognition, propel their career and accelerate their business growth.
This year, the Women in Finance Awards will be held on 10 September 2020 as a live broadcast event.
