Carbon Group cements another partnership

Business

Carbon Group has signed off on its third partnership this financial year, linking up with Brisbane-based Hawley Accounting.

By Emma Musgrave 10 minute read

The partnership between Carbon Group and Hawley Accounting comes as the former seeks to expand its Brisbane client base.

The latter is a financial firm, founded by Roger Hawley in 2009, and provides accounting and taxation advice to local clientele.

Under the partnership arrangement, Mr Hawley and his team will join the existing Carbon Brisbane office, which is led by accounting and tax partner Anthony McPhee.

While Carbon Brisbane will be managing all of Hawley Accounting’s client’s accounting and taxation needs, Mr Hawley will transition to a new CFO Services role with Carbon to focus on business development. Within the new role, he will be supporting businesses with their growth and profit maximisation, a statement explained.

“I am looking forward to the opportunities that this partnership with Hawley Accounting will create for Carbon Brisbane, and the new clients we will be able to work closely with and help guide on their business journey,” Mr McPhee said.

“Our mission has always been to free our clients from the burden of tax compliance and help them to focus on growing their business. We share this passion with Carbon Group, so the decision to join Carbon Group was an easy one,” Mr Hawley added.
