The group has welcomed South Australian firm, Symes Accountants, as its latest partner.
The firm, based in Gawler, South Australia, has been providing taxation and accounting services to the local community since 1986, and will provide Carbon Group with a new South Australian location.
The move will see the current team at Symes Accountants, led by directors Peter Caddy and Hans van Heuven establish a new Carbon office in Gawler, allowing the group to advance its role within the local community.
For Mr Caddy, the partnership provides the firms with the ability to increase their role in improving the lives of their local clients.
“At Symes Accountants we have always strived to make an impact to our client’s quality of life by providing them with advice, solutions and the tools they need to get them closer to their goals. We share this passion with Carbon Group, so the opportunity to join their network was one we couldn’t pass by as we will be able to further elevate our service offering to clients,” Mr Caddy said.
Mr van Heuven added to this sentiment, saying: “[W]e have a strong connection to our local community and making a difference to small business owners and individuals within our community has long been our focus. What stood out to us about Carbon Group is their commitment to their local communities, and how each office works together to help.”
Summarising the move and its benefits, Carbon Group co-founder, Nathan Hood stated: “From our first meeting with Peter and Hans, we knew we were onto a special opportunity. After our recent appointment of new Accounting & Tax Partner David Block and the launch of our first central Adelaide office, we were eager to continue our growth in South Australia. The team at Symes Accountants are very passionate about the work they do, and the service they provide, and I’m excited about what we can do as a team.”
