The first Accountants Daily Finance Day is an in-person, half-day workshop to equip accountants with knowledge around the SME lending process and finance solutions.
With content designed from real-life case studies, accountants will walk away with the skills and tools to understand lenders’ assessment processes and generate fruitful lending outcomes so their clients can become “finance-fit” and “loan-ready”.
As more SMEs require business funding, there is a significant opportunity for accountants to cement themselves as trusted advisers and capture significant fees, at the same time as establishing rich SME client relationships.
With support from principal partners AltX and Assetline Capital, this practical, jam-packed workshop – which takes place on Thursday, 16 June 2022 at the Star Event Centre in Sydney – will provide accountants with key insights into lender expectations. This will include measures a lender could use to determine SME loan approvals – so that accountants can shape their clients’ businesses accordingly – and why lenders are supportive of accountants as key contributors to the financing process.
The workshop will also guide accountants on how to blend planning with advice to forecast their SME clients’ borrowing power.
It will arm accountants with strategies to navigate the evolving financial landscape so they can create additional revenue channels and maximise their profitability.
In addition, accountants can network with government officials, leading industry bodies, key solutions providers, and their peers. They can have their questions answered by respected facilitators, presenters, and panellists (including mentors and coaches, asset finance company executives, and banking and finance specialists) and formulate tangible action checklists to plan, implement, and succeed in their practices.
The event is geared towards growth-focused accountants, bookkeepers, practice principles, key business decision-makers, strategic thinkers in accounting practices, and BDMs seeking insights on the future of the accounting industry.
Speakers include Accendo Financial partner John Sgambelluri; deputy Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (ASBFEO) Dr Craig Latham; flexicommercial general manager operations Karla Poulton; board adviser, executive coach and strategic risk consultant at Risk Advantage Consulting, Christopher Maclean; and risk specialist Stuart Campbell.
Thanks to our principal partners Assetline Capital and AltX, the first 200 registered will attend free on a $199 ticket price.
