Nicholas Benbow has been appointed director of Audit, Rebecca Rossi, director of Business Advisory, Janine Williamson, director of Wealth Advisory and Scott Girdlestone, also a director of Wealth Advisory.
Nick Hatzistergos, chairman of William Buck congratulated the four on their promotion, saying the internal appointments reflect the firm’s commitment to developing “home grown” talent.
“These appointments are part of our internal growth strategy. Across the country, we put a lot of effort into providing the necessary training for our people to progress through the firm and achieve their potential”.
“Wherever possible, William Buck chooses to provide opportunities for our own people. Those that have grown up in the firm understand our processes and systems and most importantly form a strong part of our culture. They’re part of the William Buck family,” he said.
Mr Hatzistergos said the firm has made a very conscious decision to put more effort, time and resources into internal staff development to facilitate a succession plan for the business’ current crop of directors.
"Essentially we’re moulding the leaders of tomorrow – and of course our other motive is that we don’t want to lose our best and brightest to other firms," Mr Hatzistergos said.
