The partnership with Northstar, located on Sydney's lower north shore, will allow Chan & Naylor to grow its Sydney footprint as the group continues its JVP strategy to extend the breadth of its client services nationwide.
“Amid ongoing industry consolidation and a significant lack of independent financial advice and accounting services, Chan & Naylor remains committed to providing its clients with a holistic one-stop accounting and wealth advisory service in more suburban areas including both major metropolitan and regional centres around Australia,” said Ken Raiss, managing director of Chan & Naylor.
“We are thrilled to now have a presence in St. Leonards which will be closely aligned with our Pymble and city-based operations.”
Northstar, established over 15 years ago, currently provides a range of specialist taxation and accounting services to small businesses and individuals.
The firm also offers tailored financial plans and financial advice aimed at wealth generation. In addition, Northstar also offers clients expert SMSF and property taxation advice, including a mortgage broking service.
Andrew Stanning, who leads Northstar, is a chartered accountant, registered tax agent and auditor with over 20 years’ experience. He is also a financial planning specialist and a certified financial planner and will work closely with Chan & Naylor within both the accounting and newly established Chan & Naylor finance divisions of the group.
Mr. Stanning said he was attracted to Chan & Naylor because of the growth potential offered by a national brand as well as succession support when required.
