The Australian Accounting Awards will be open to accountants across the industry and will recognise excellence from leading individuals and firms. Submissions opened today with the winners to be announced in December.
The awards will be partnered by Reckon, a leading provider of software solutions for accounting professionals. Speaking about the awards, Reckon managing director – accountants group Sam Allert said The Australian Accounting Awards were another way that Reckon could continue to support and champion the accounting industry.
“Accounting professionals are key advisors to individuals, small businesses and corporate Australia. Accountants are also frequently called on by friends and clients to provide valuable assistance with a range of matters,” Mr Allert said.
“The Australian Accounting Awards provide a great platform for promoting industry successes and the value of the profession as a whole,” he said.
AccountantsDaily editor Michael Masterman said the awards are a great opportunity for both individuals and firms to be recognised for their successes across a wide range of categories.
“This is the perfect chance for accounting professionals and accounting firms to gain recognition for their hard work – and then use that recognition to boost their profile,” he said.
“With a wide variety of awards up for grabs there is chance for everyone to get involved and boost their firm’s – and their own – standing in the industry,” said Mr Masterman.
