Richard Boyce has joined the firm from Boyce Family Office and brings with him more than 24 years’ experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families, including in establishing and running family offices.
A statement from EY said Mr Boyce brings to EY an understanding of the unique aspects involved in managing multi-generational family affairs.
EY Oceania Private Client Services Leader, Ian Burgess said Mr Boyce’s experience complemented the firm’s existing middle-market services and its global strategic investment in providing advice and services to family businesses.
“Our Family Office Services form part of our suite of offerings to wealthy families. Working with our existing teams, Richard will provide advice and support to these clients around key issues including succession, governance, private capital transactions and management of family affairs,” Mr Burgess said.
“Richard will help connect Australian families with EY’s comprehensive suite of resources, including our Family Business Center of Excellence thought leadership hub, our NextGen Academy that trains young family business successors, and the depth and breadth of advice from our global tax and finance network. I am pleased to welcome him to EY.”
