Owen Howells has been appointed the company’s first business development manager to serve the state of Queensland.
According to the firm, strategic in-market presence is designed to improve Intuit’s capacity to support local small and medium-sized businesses and their financial advisers across the state.
Nicolette Maury, managing director of Intuit Australia, said the appointment will help Intuit to introduce more small business owners, accountants and bookkeepers in the state to the benefits of cloud accounting.
“Our move into Queensland marks an exciting start to 2015. It continues the trend of explosive growth we have experienced over the past 12 months, thanks to increased awareness of QuickBooks Online and our continuing investment in support, sales, training and marketing,” Ms Maury said.
