As reported in AccountantsDaily, Bentleys Tasmania recently merged with Paragon BDS, with Bentleys director Robin Allardice saying at the time that the desire to build up the firm's cloud solutions offering was an important factor in the decision to merge.
As a result of this improved cloud offering, Bentley’s has now been appointed a Xero platinum partner.
Mr Allardice said the platinum partnership will mean current and future clients will have access to the highest level of service on Xero’s platform.
“Cloud-based solutions are quickly becoming a crucial way for business owners to drive efficiencies across their organisations. The platinum partnership is recognition that we are Tasmania’s leader in cloud solutions.
“Bentleys has an in-house cloud solutions division that works with clients to identify where this technology will offer the greatest benefit, and help to implement it efficiently,” he said.
Mr Allardice, who is also on Xero’s partner advisory council, said the firm itself was fully cloud-based and was committed to supporting its clients across the state to move to the cloud.
“We believe that with the right cloud solution, businesses can save up to 75 per cent of the time spent on administrative and compliance activities. So we are fully committed to helping our clients take advantage of the technology,” he said.
