Koda Capital, which was established late last year by former CEO of JBWere, Paul Heath, and former CEO of MLC and NAB Wealth, Steve Tucker, has recruited Ben Andreou from PwC and Luther Poier from CBA.
Mr Andreou, a former director at PwC and adviser to a number of high net worth clients in the private clients business in Sydney, has joined Koda Capital as director of specialist advice and partner.
Luther Poier, who has more than 20 years of executive and management experience in personal and business investment, corporate strategy, business start-ups and re-structuring, has joining Koda Capital as an adviser and partner. He joins the firm from CBA’s private wealth team, where he provided specialist investment advice to many of Australia’s wealthiest individuals and families.
Mr Heath, chief executive of Koda, said the firm is delighted to recruit two of the country’s top private wealth advisers.
“One of the key attractions of Koda for specialist advisers and clients who are joining us is the fact that we are charging clients transparent fees for our services, without any commission for selling them into products that may or may not suit them.
“This enables us to genuinely put our clients’ interests first at all times”, Mr Heath added.
Koda Capital provides a complete wealth management solution for high net worth individuals, families, and not for profit organisations. The firm’s core services include investment strategy; financial planning, including advice on appropriate structures; intergenerational wealth advice; and advice within the philanthropic space, Koda Capital said.
