Stephanie Allen has been appointed as the new leader of Deloitte’s health and human services consulting practice.

Ms Allen was formerly health consulting leader for PwC and has worked extensively across the primary, aged care and disability sectors, both in the UK and Australia.

Adam Powick, Deloitte managing partner for clients and industries, said health and human services is a key investment priority for Deloitte and welcomed Ms Allen’s appointment and wealth of experience.

"It will help supercharge the firm’s already strong growth in this sector," he said. “In particular, her expertise in large scale transformation programs such as the commissioning of new hospitals, consumer directed care, productivity improvement and clinical service redesign will be an invaluable addition to our team."

Ms Allen said she is excited about joining the firm and about taking advantage of Deloitte’s wide range of resources.

“I am really looking forward to working at Deloitte," she said. "They are the only firm that can offer the healthcare industry insight and foresight, through Deloitte Access Economics, combined with sustained performance improvement underpinned by relevant technologies.
