Intuit Australia's managing director, Nicolette Maury, told AccountantsDaily that QuickBooks Online Accountant is all about saving accountants time.

“It's their time to move to the cloud and their time to be recognised as the trusted adviser and experts to their small business clients. We’re delighted to provide a solution that gives accountants their valuable time back and bolsters their pride in confidently helping their clients succeed,” Ms Maury said.

“The software is designed to deliver on the Intuit QuickBooks vision of being the operating system behind small business success, while also helping accounting professionals save time and grow their practice," she added.

“The new product’s core capabilities focus on three areas: seamlessly expose tools and insights to accountants, seamlessly work with all their employees and clients, and transform how accountants grow their practice”.

Ms Maury said she was particularly excited by the launch of the Accountants Toolbox feature, which provides accountants their “most used” tools in “the most accessible place.

“Intuit has put accountants’ most essential tools — the ones used every day to support clients — in one consistent place, no matter whose books are being worked on.

“Even when accountants are inside a client’s books, they can always click on the icon at the top of the dashboard to access journal entries, reclassify transactions, write off invoices, accountant reports and lots more," Ms Maury said.
