Vincents reveals new leaders

Business

Five-office mid-tier firm Vincents Chartered Accountants has named two new directors, taking the firm’s leadership team to 29.

By Staff Reporter 8 minute read

Ben Gordon from Vincents’ Brisbane office and Tony Lane from the Canberra office were appointed directors effective 1 July.

Mr Gordon started with Douglas Heck and Burrell 14 years ago and was a part of its successful transformation to Pitcher Partners (Qld) and its subsequent merger in 2008 with Vincents.

Mr Lane joined the Vincents team more recently from a Canberra firm and in the past 18 months has established and led the Vincents Insolvency presence in Canberra.

Managing director David Rose said the promotions reflect the ever-evolving demand for strategic business development and the firm’s desire to meet all their clients’ needs.

“As a director it is satisfying to watch staff members grow and develop in our backyard,” Mr Rose said. “It’s a vital part of the firms’ past and future success … and one that we are delighted to share with the community.

“On behalf of all the directors I congratulate all of our people on harnessing their abilities and providing innovative solutions and superb service in a range of areas across the firm.
