Six partner-level appointments have been made across several offices and business areas.

Stephen Rooke, who specialises in the health and aged care sectors, has been promoted to director in the Sydney firm’s business advisory practice. Ron Arnold has also been promoted to principal in the same business.

Todd Want has been promoted to director in tax consulting in Sydney and Daniel Coote has been promoted to director in corporate advisory, also in Sydney.

In Brisbane, Angela Jeffrey and Julie O’Reilly have both been promoted to director in business advisory, building up the firm’s solid health care capability. Ms O'Reilly also brings extensive experience in property-related transactions to the position.

The appointments complement the promotions made in Adelaide earlier this year when Babis Mavrakis and Matthew Illman were promoted to director and Lee Fuller, Paula Liddle and David Martland to principal.

Nick Hatzistergos, national chairman of William Buck, congratulated the promoted staff, welcoming them all to the leadership team.

“Our new generation of leaders thoroughly deserve their promotions, and I look forward to watching them progress in their careers and achieve great things,” he said.

“As we celebrate our 120th year, we look back at a proud history, and forward to a promising future. This year’s promotions mark the next generation of leaders at William Buck as we continue to develop a successful and sustainable firm,” he added.

“The Board and I are very pleased with the quality of talent rising through the ranks, which is confirmation of the firm’s ability to remain relevant, providing opportunities for our people, and expanding on the solutions we provide for our clients.”
