Bentleys Perth’s audit and corporate advisory services will now be headed by Chris Nicoloff, former lead of Deloitte’s Perth not-for-profit audit and advisory practice. Mr Nicoloff has also previously held senior roles at PKF and BDO.
His aim will be to bolster Bentleys' relationships with mining industry clients and contacts, while driving forward the delivery of the firm’s long-term stability solutions and project management services.
Having previously working in a mid-tier environment, a desire to return to a smaller team and offer "more personalised, partner-led service" was the motivation behind Mr Nicoloff's move.
"There's more disruptions in the big four that effectively take you away from client service sometimes," he said.
In addition to developing services and client engagement, Mr Nicoloff will assume responsibility for overall business growth in the audit and advisory divisions and will offer specialist knowledge in the aged care and not-for-profit sectors.
Philip Rix, managing director of Bentleys Perth, noted that assisting aged care providers in the direction and refinement of their financial objectives is of vital importance.
“There is a huge demand on aged care providers to stay profitable and be able to provide consistent, high-quality services in line with consumer demands,” Mr Rix stated.
Mr Nicoloff's appointment follows previous Bentleys Perth expansions into the SMSF and superannuation space.
“Chris brings a depth of knowledge and experience across the accounting and finance sectors and we are very pleased to welcome him to the Bentleys team in Perth,” said Mr Rix.
