Dermott McVeigh, Wayne Rushton and Andrew Smith will join the partnership of Ferrier Hodgson Perth, effective 1 January 2016.

Mr McVeigh was previously a partner at Deloitte between 2007 and 2012 and is currently managing director of boutique financial advisory firm Avior Consulting. He brings to the role a wealth of experience within the resources sector, having also served as chairman of Indochine Mining Limited.

New partners Mr Rushton and Mr Smith currently serve as directors of Ferrier Hodgson, adding further experience within the energy and resources space themselves.

Martin Jones, Perth managing partner, hailed the appointments and experience of the three incoming partners.

“We are delighted to announce that Ferrier Hodgson has invited Dermott McVeigh, Wayne Rushton and Andrew Smith to join the partnership,” Mr Jones said.

“The appointments are an important step for the practice transition to meet the opportunities and challenges of the future.”

“Having led the way from the start, we continue to strive to set new benchmarks for the industry and by investing in our people we believe that the firm will continue to deliver a premium client service for many years to come.”
