Rob McKie, head of Pitcher Partners Consulting, said the new division will provide middle-market Australian businesses with access to 'big picture', integrated thinking as an affordable and viable option.
Comprising 45 consultants and directors in business strategy, organisational performance and digital and technology consulting, the division will offer services covering strategy, marketing, commercial advice, digital, governance, procurement and change management.
Mr McKie said the new business universe revolves around digital disruption, making it increasingly difficult for service providers to advise in just one key area of digital, technology or management advice.
“Pitcher Partners Consulting brings these advisory experts together to offer clients fully integrated strategies and services to support their transformation,” he said.
“Middle market clients in both the private and public sectors are undergoing business transformation and require assistance around strategy, technology and management advice – and often Big 4 or major consulting firms aren’t the right fit for them.
"Now they have a genuine, competitive alternative that will deliver the same high level of quality advice and technical expertise, based on a solid understanding of the commercial imperatives and practical solutions required by middle market businesses,” Mr McKie said.
Pitcher Partners was recently awarded Firm of the Year (under $1 billion) at the Australian Accounting Awards.
